AUREA Technology received the 2014 CLEO/Laser Focus World Innovation Award

AUREA Technology offers the first worldwide high-brightness stand-alone quantum Entangled Photon Pair Source at telecom wavelengths, ideal for quantum information technologies. The TPS photon-pair source series are high-performance, compact and easy-to-use self-contained twin photon source. With only 5mW of pump power, it performs a spectral brightness of more than 100,000 photons/s/pm!

This innovative twin-photon source is very well designed. It provides a very convenient front-panel display and easy-to-use PC Graphical User Interface via its fast USB connection. Moreover, DLL libraries are also provided for LabVIEW, C++, and Visual basic user interface developments.

Entangled photons have appeared to be a promising way for both demonstrating quantum physics principles, and new quantum information applications. For example, entangled photons allows the development of Quantum Key Distribution protocols over few hundreds of kilometers. In biological imaging applications, entangled-photon light source allows yielding original dispersion-free measurements. Hence, the manipulation of the non-classical properties of such photon source have great potential for the development of very new quantum applications.

The SPD_A_NIR from AUREA Technology is the “best-in-class” high-performance and easy-to-use Near Infrared single photon counting modules engineered for the most demanding low-level of-light applications, such as single photon counting, Time Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC), spectroscopy, eye safe LIDAR, optical communications, and quantum cryptography.

The SPD_A_NIR is available for 1- or 2-channels. One of the advantage of the dual single photon counting module SPD_A_M2 from AUREA Technology is that the two independent single photon detectors are included in the same case and most importantly are paired during the manufacturing. As matter of fact, the twins detectors have similar Dark Count Rate and Quantum Efficiency.

AUREA Technology unveils the CHRONOXEA its Time Correlation Module that makes acquiring time-resolved data in an efficient, easy-to-use, and affordable solution. The CHRONOXEA features 1 start channel and 4 independent stop channels to perform time correlated measurements with a high resolution of 13 ps on measurement range up to 7 seconds. Based on FPGA fast electronics, the CHRONOXEA TCSPC correlation module features a high transer rate up to 1 x 106 correlations/sec.

In addition, it offers a PC connection via its USB interfaces. Its ergonomic Graphical User Interface allows the user to manage the settings and display the measured data. DLL libraries compatible to the most well-known programming languages, such as LabVIEW and C++ are also provided.

Very well-designed, it is fully compatible with all commercial single photon avalanche photodiode detectors

The PICOXEA from AUREA Technology is the first "all in one, very-compact, and easy-to-use" Time Correlated Single Photon Counting TCSPC ANALYSER, which contains pulsed laser, gated-mode Single Photon Counting and its associated TDC correlation electronics and software for standard fluorescence decay recording.

AUREA OEM NIR Photon counter smallThe SPD_OEM_NIR is a high-performance and compact near-infrared Single Photon detection module designed for industrial and scientific applications that require high photon detection efficiency, reliability, and high-level of integration. It is based on cooled Geiger-mode InGaAs avalanche photodiode technologies controlled by its free-running and gated-mode embedded electronics and user-friendly software. Its "champion-grade" version performs up to 30% QE, Dark Count Rate noise < 1,000 cps, after-pulsing probability < 0.1%, and low timing jitter < 200 ps. Its remote interface allows to easily adjust the QE and the Dead Time by using the DLL libraries compatible to the most well-known programming languages.

 Picosecond diode laser module

PIXEA LASER HEAD - LowResThe PIXEA_OEM is a high-performance picosecond laser based on gain-switched laser diode technologies controlled by its embedded electronics and software. The PIXEA_OEM offers a large variety of wavelengths from 375 nm to 1990 nm. Designed for the most demanding industrial applications, the PIXEA generates ultrashort laser pulses down to 20 ps with extremely-low timing jitter down to 3 ps, and excellent beam quality. Its embedded electronics is able to continuously tune the repetition rate from single shot to 120 MHz, the pulse width from <40 ps to 5 ns and the peak power up to 1W. It can be easily triggered by an external source and remotely controlled by a PC via its USB port. Its remote interface allows to easily adjust the laser pulse shape (rate, width and power) by using the DLL libraries compatible to the most well-known programming languages. Dual-mode (CW & pulsed) and different optical output options are also available.

Very well engineered the PIXEA_OEM is the most versatile picosecond laser diode module designed for industrial applications that require high-performance, flexibity, reliability, and low cost of ownership.
