Tydex公司成立于1994年，位于有俄罗斯光学心脏之称的圣彼得堡市，技术团队由俄罗斯科学院Loffe物理技术研究所科学家组建。Tydex专注于生产、定制应用于科研及工业的各类光学元件及仪器，囊括了光谱仪、太赫兹波光子、测温、计量和热成像仪器，以及太赫兹组件、传感器、探测器等。应用波长从深紫外到可见光、近红外、中红外，直至毫米波。
THz探测器
Tydex公司设计生产的THz探测器Golay Cell是最有效的探测器之一 。该产品在室温下具有优异的灵敏度，并具有宽波长范围内的平坦光学响应。GC系列探测器在室内制造并且独立校准。该产品包括一个探头和一个电源。滤波器支架可选。
分别以HDPE（高密度聚乙烯）、TPX（聚4-甲基戊烯）和Diamond为窗口材料，对应不同的探测波长范围，信号可由BNC接口输出到示波器上读出。

Golay Cell在在室温下非常宽的带宽下都有优良的灵敏度和平坦的光谱响应，出厂即代表经过单独校准过。包含一个探测头和电源，也可提供增加滤波片。提供的多种HRFZ-Si和TPX材料做成的THZ光学元件如低通滤波片、聚乙烯偏振片、窗口镜、透镜以及分光片来满足不同的THZ应用。也提供软硬件组件将Golay Cell产生的模拟信号转变成数字信号，该组件具备一个特殊的软件和一个电路单元，并可通过USB线和个人电脑相连。可用于检测，处理和分析光声信号。
