1.uniMir : Single Mode DFB QCL / Broadband Fabry Perot QCL
The uniMir product line offers single mode Quantum Cascade Lasers (single mode DFB QCL) or broadband lasers (Fabry Perrot) between 4µm – 10µm (2500 cm-1 – 1000 cm-1). uniMir lasers operate at room temperature, without a cryogenic system, in pulsed or continuous wave emission.

mirSense uses the well-known Distributed Feedback (DFB) effect to achieve single frequency sources. Furthermore, our products rely on our strong experience (since 2000) and a unique and patented approach. Our technology uses top metal grating to provide the feedback in the cavity. Top metal gratings allow versatility, reproducibility and stability in wavelengths.

2.multiMir : Broadband DFB Quantum Cascade Lasers (QCL)
multiMir is a Broadband DFB Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL). It is the only full semiconductor solution for broadband tuning (~100cm–¹). It gives you unprecedented capabilities for high quality spectroscopy with the same performances as a single frequency laser in terms of wavelength accuracy, stability and compactness, but with a tuning range of several tenth of cm–¹.
multiMir combines mirSense laser technology together with the silicon based integrated optics capability.
With such a component, you can analyze your mixture in harsh conditions, with many interfering molecules, and identify specific molecules with broad signatures.
This is the only proprietary full semiconductor technology to provide a unique production scaling capability.

3.multiSense : QCL based spectrometer module for gas analyzers
multiSense is a QCL based spectrometer module for gas analyzers manufacturers. It combines the unique properties of mid-infrared lasers together with the compactness and affordability of photoacoustic detection. In 1 dL, our offer can detect up to 10 gases, such as: CO, CO2, NO, NO2, NO, SO2, SO3, HS, NH3, CH4… as well as more complex molecules such as hydrocarbides or blood constituents.
mirSense has reached an unprecedented level of co-integration of quantum cascade lasers and photoacoustic detection in order to deliver such an innovative module. Working together with CEA-Léti, we also benefit from the best of the silicon industry to provide this cost effective approach.
Off-the-shelf components are available andmirSense is able to provide “design to cost” components for large volume (>100 000) applications when both performance and cost matter !

4.powerMir : Bright solution for demanding applications
The powerMir is a high power Quantum Cascade Lasers family achieving very high output power and wall-plug efficiency. At room temperature, watt-level power in continuous wave operation is achieved in the wavelength range of 4.3 to 4.7 µm (other wavelength, e.g : 4.0µm / 9.0µm are available with custom design development) . The mode is typically TEM00 with Gaussian spatial distribution and high beam quality for easy handling.
The highest efficiency is obtained from buried-ridge devices with improved thermal characteristics. The buried heterostructure is formed by regrowth of semi insulating iron doped InP on the side wall after etching of the laser ridge. Excellent performances, including lower threshold current densities and high characteristic temperature, are obtained due to lower lateral waveguide losses and improved lateral heat dissipation.
powerMir is available in standard HHL package with collimating lens for low divergence and Peltier regulation.
The High Power Quantum Cascade lasers frommirSense line target the Defense and Security applications, e.g : Directional InfraRed Counter Measure (DIRCM), where high power, robustness and high beam quality are mandatory.
