Structured light DOE

Holo/Or is happy to launch a brand new product line.
By upgrading our production facilities, Holo
/Or now offers high-angle, high-quality, high-efficiency Beam Shapers   and Beam Splitters DOE, specialy designed to cover a large field of view, for applications ranging from 10s of  KW to a few mW.

Our DOE are made of either UV-grade Fused Silica, polymer on glass or plastic. Typical applications include structured light 3D sensing, heat treatments       and light projection.

Medium Power Low-Cost Broadband Diffuser (BD)
BD are special beam shaping flat-top diffusers, dedicated to applications where more than a single wavelength is used in same optical path. 
Holo
/Or designs & manufactures low-cost BD diffusers suitable for mid-power applications (under 2 [J/cm2] for nano-second pulses).
These BD elements have excellent thermal & environmental properties, similar to our etched fused silica products, and the same high-end optical performance, at a significantly reduced cost.

Germanium Beam Shapers for mid to far IR broadband applications
Germanium (Ge) broadband beam shapers, can shape single mode lasers at wavelengths in the Mid-IR spectrum to achieve uniform illumination profiles in various shapes including: square, round, line or rectangular.
Ideal for MIR/FIR spectroscopy and other projection applications where broad-band MIR sources are used, our single window beam shapers offer diffraction limited shaping performance in the entire 2-12 um spectral range.

BEAM SHAPING

HOLO/OR is a high-tech company dedicated to the design and manufacturing of beam shaping elements.

The beam shaping element is a diffractive optical element (DOE) used to transform a near-gaussian incident laser beam into a uniform-intensity spot of either round, rectangular, square, line or other shape with sharp edges in a specific work plane.

A uniform spot enables equal treatment to a surface, excluding over/under-exposure of specific areas. In addition, the spot is characterized by a sharp transition region that creates a clear border between the treated and untreated area.


For single mode lasers, we offer the following beam shaping solutions:

  • Focal Beam Shaping: Hybrid element (lens) or module which give a Top-Hat intensity distribution at a specific working distance (BFL of the lens or distance from exit location of the module to Top-Hat plane).

  • Angular Beam Shaping: Optical element (window) which gives a Top-Hat intensity distribution at infinity or focal length of aberration free customer’s lens. 

  • M-Shaper: Optical element (window) which gives a uniform exposure over scanned lines.

 For multimode lasers, Holo/Or offers a wide selection of Flat-Top diffusers, with  shaping into round, square, line and rectangular spots. 

We also offer 3 families of Ring shapers- Vortex lenses,  Diffractive Axicons and Multi-ring shapers.

BEAM SPLITTER

Beam splitter elements are diffractive optical elements used to split a single laser beam into several beams, each with the characteristics of the original beam (except for power and angle of propagation).

HOLO/OR can manufacture a diffractive beam splitter pattern directly on plano-convex lens. This will produce a focused multispot pattern with an inter-spot distance defined by the customer at a specific working distance. These spots can be aligned in a line, matrix or in any other custom shape such as an hexagonal, cross , round , triangle …

HOLO/OR offers, in addition to standard beam splitters, the possibility to choose the number of spots and their locations, as a part of its custom design and manufacturing capability.

Features of beam splitters: any input beam shape (SM/MM), insensitive to X-Y-Z displacements, high power threshold, accurate separation angle and available in wavelengths from UV to IR.

Our beam splitters are used in a wide variety of research and industrial applications. Some typical areas include  aesthetic skin treatment, laser scribing, laser dicing,  3D sensors, fiber optics and medical applications.

BEAM FOCI

Beam Foci elements are diffractive optical elements that manipulated the focal properties of the laser beam, by either splitting the focus into several equal foci with controlled seperation distances  (Multi-Focal DOE) , or by creating an increase in depth of focus (Elongated Focus DOE). 

HOLO/OR offers, in addition to standard beam splitters, the possibility to choose the number of Focis and their locations, as a part of its custom design and manufacturing capability.

Our  Beam Foci elements are used in many applications, including Glass Laser Cutting, Via drilling in transparent materials, Sensing and multi-focal imaging.

Using Multispot DOE to replicate VCSEL patterns for 3D sensing, Volume Mapping and Machine Vision applications
Many of the latest 3D Mapping and sensing application are using VCSEL chips with custom emitter arrangement as sources for structured light sensing technologies.
These applications benefit from the high spots density over the entire FOV.
