The QLD1x6x series of high-power single mode DFB lasers offers wavelengths ranging from 1020 nm to 1180 nm. All models are packaged in standard 14-pin butterfly modules with a polarization-maintaining optical fiber (PMF) and built-in optical isolator. Offering excellent spectral stability, they can operate under various driving conditions from CW to short pulse (picoseconds, nanoseconds) and are ideal for the pulsed seeders of fiber lasers for applications such as materials processing. Gain switch operation enables the generation of optical pulses of 50 picoseconds or 15 picoseconds in high-speed models to further improve fiber laser machining performance. We also offer various driver boards, including 50 ps, 15 ps, nanosecond, DFB-SOA, CW, etc. We are confident that our products can help improve your fiber laser design.

The QLF 133x, QLF 131x, QLD 133x and QLD131x quantum dot laser series are 1300 nm semiconductor lasers grown on GaAs substrates based on quantum dot technology. We have already shipped 3.6 million units to customers for datacom uses. We also offer products for communication at temperatures above 100℃. Quantum dot lasers are operable even at extremely high temperatures (200℃) and can be adopted for harsh-environment applications, including usage in plants and underground resource exploration. Their excellent stability at high temperatures and excellent optical feedback tolerance make them ideal light sources for silicon photonics.

We market high-quality epitaxial wafers on GaAs substrates, grown by molecular beam epitaxy (MBE), for various photonic and electronic devices. Our wafers can be customized to meet customers’ specific demands. For our quantum dot wafers, we apply world-leading quantum dot technology in data communication lasers proven to have minimal temperature dependence and in lasers that operate in high-temperature environments over 200°C. We also customize semiconductor wafers for silicon photonics. The growable layers are comprised of InAs quantum dot, InGaAs quantum well, GaAs, or AlGaAs on GaAs substrate.

The QLD0593 series consists of compact visible light lasers with wavelengths of 532, 561 and 594 nm that use a DFB laser and wavelength conversion element. Diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSS lasers) are primarily used in this wavelength band, but they have drawbacks including the inability to modulate. Our lasers use a built-in semiconductor laser that ensures highly stable, high-speed modulation and realize low power consumption by applying GaAs-based semiconductor laser technology. QLD0593 series lasers come in small packages of our own design and can be supplied in a fiber pigtail design when required by customers. They can be used in flow cytometers for biomedical applications as well as in sensor applications for microscopes and spectroscopy.

The QLF063x-QLF09x series consists of high-output Fabry Perot lasers with wavelengths of 640, 660, 685, 785, 830, 905 and 940 nm in a TO-CAN (TO56) package with built-in monitor PD. We offer two types of wiring for common anodes or cathodes. These lasers are primarily for industrial applications and are the best choice for machine vision, leveling instruments, particle counters and all kinds of sensors.
