ALUMINUM OXIDES
Demeter Technologies aluminum oxides are engineered from high purity hydroxides which have been co-developed with selected raw material suppliers. Particle hardness, shape and size distribution are just a few of the properties that are controlled at our state of the art facility. Standard particle sizes range for 0.5 to 20 microns. The hardness can be controlled to increase cut rate and surface finish to your specifications. Aluminum oxide can be supplied in powder or slurry form. Custom formulations are available.
ZIRCONIUM OXIDES
Demeter Technologies zirconium oxides have been developed to produce very fine surface finishes on a variety of glasses and ceramics. Statistical process control ensures consistent particle hardness for the highest stock removal rates. Our proprietary classification process produces narrow particle size distributions that give our slurries the highest surface quality with no scratching. Zirconium oxides can be supplied in powder or slurry form. Custom formulations are available.
RARE EARTH PRODUCTS
Demeter Technologies offers a variety of rare earth products including cerium oxide and mixed rare earth oxide glass polishes, high purity rare earth oxides for glass additives, lanthanum based water treatment chemicals and individual rare earth compounds. Purities range from 95% to 99.999%.
