Chromacity 1040
The Chromacity 1040 laser system is available in two versions, delivering either 500 mW or up to 2.5 W, with picosecond or femtosecond pulsewidths. Operating at a wavelength of 1040 nm, this is the ideal source for a wide range of multi-photon microscopy, SHG imaging and seed laser applications.

Infrared OPOs
Chromacity OPO
The Chromacity OPO provides exceptional tunability and power across the near-infrared, making it an ideal light source for a wide range of application areas (from multi-photon microscopy to spectroscopy). Our ultrafast optical parametric oscillator technology can generate light from 1.4 µm to 4.2 µm with picosecond pulsewidths (femtosecond operation from 1.4-1.7 µm is available). With a fully integrated pump source it is able to deliver high average power at both the signal and idler wavelengths with exceptional reliability. We also provide access to the fixed wavelength pump light, making it suitable for CARS microscopy.

Mid-Infrared OPOs
Chromacity FIR
The Chromacity FIR is the world’s first commercial broadband ultrafast OPO providing output in the 5 – 12 µm region. In the 5 – 7 µm region up to 80 mW can be achieved and at 12 µm up to 10 mW of light is available. The Chromacity FIR is an ideal source for spectroscopy in the molecular fingerprint region as well as stand-off detection and remote sensing applications.
